Historical Playing Cards of Trumbull County

A fund-raising project of the Friends of the Sutliff Museum, Historical Playing Cards of Trumbull County honor regionally and nationally famous citizens of the county, former Underground Railroad sites, other historical buildings, and monuments throughout Trumbull County. Each of the numbered faces of the cards has an individual or corporate sponsor and pictures a particular historical event or location.

The decks are offered with two different backs to allow for using a set for bridge, gin and other partner card games. One deck features the beautiful marble fireplace from the Sutliff home, which is now exhibited in the Museum. The second deck features the front entrance to Trumbull County’s Law Library, formally Warren’s public library, given to the city in 1905 by Judge Milton Sutliff and the Carnegie Trust. The card faces are the same in both decks.

The Friends will use proceeds from the card sale to support the Sutliff Museum.
